Director Jack the
Zipper's "Xero" is one of the most artistically inclined bits of girl on
girl porno ever conceived, it's a masterful and visually brilliant
pornographic film that is clearly just about the girl on girl sequences,
but also has something to say with its depiction of sex scenes. Clocking
in at an hour long, "Xero" is an endless stream of women going down on
one another and engaging in heavy cunnilingus but this is all depicted
in a single barn setting through the eyes of a dark haired woman. This
dark haired woman is being tormented by an appetite for women that's
insatiable. "Xero" is deep down a story of a girl being driven mad by
her sexual urges who takes her life in the end rather than suffer the
lust of her girl on girl fantasies.

While most
times girl on girl porn tends to be rote, director Jack the
Zipper opts for something much more unique and breathtaking,
especially with the dark specter watching over with her dark
black leather and dangerous mask, all the while tempting and
luring the girl in her barn. I was most intrigued by the
imagery Jack the Zipper presented with the taunting of the
masked leather bound stranger who tore and taunted at the
dark haired young girl. |

Meanwhile the women
in the barn in their nightmarish guises engage in girl on girl within
the darkness of the barn, even donning horrific masks that double as
phallic symbols. The box implicates that the ending is rather over the
top for and violent, and Zipper makes good on his promise with a finale
that closes up an otherwise fascinating and maddening bit if
experimental pornography that works on many levels as an artistic
exercise and a hardcore bit of girl on girl pornography. The Two Disc
DVD comes filled with a slideshow and trailers to other Jack the Zipper
works, while the extra Disc is the soundtrack to "Xero."
Director Jack the Zipper attempts something beyond the typical girl on
girl porno, he instead decides on substance and something of artistic
merit. Lo and behold, he succeeds with what is a demented and surreal
girl on girl entry in to the medium, and one packed with extras.
