DAŅOS DEL AMOR

Everyone on screen looks good and looks to be having fun. They had more fun making it than we had watching it.

This is a film searching for a tone. It has three and none of them particularly worked. It wants to be light comedy mixed with the jealousy angle of two girls and one guy. That one does not work since all of the actors have zero chemistry and their acting is as wooden as a box. It then wants to be cartoonish with people yelling, screaming, and people showing up, and leaving in kung-fu style. All of the characters in this sequence are straight from a Saturday morning cartoon. It then is a Kill Bill style action fight with the guy facing off against the girl he never cheated on. It also has a lot of music and I would have rather seen the acting and story tell the job than a song.

The film is essentially all over the map and searching for something to be. It tries to be all three, and just does not work. I wish it would have settled down and went in one direction and stuck with it. It's confusing, chaotic, and inconsistent.

If the characters had something to say or were interesting, maybe what was going on would mean more. It feels like robots battling it out for thirteen minutes.
