At only seven minutes long, Party Pooper may not be the best from Funny or Die, but it’s definitely one of the funniest with a gag that is not only realistic but funny to boot. What happens when you do go to a party and suddenly garner the urge to take a donation to the local bathroom facilities? With subtle humor, “Party Pooper” takes a very simple cringe inducing premise and makes it feel like an old episode of “Curb your Enthusiasm” where two men happen upon a local get together with their best friends. Suddenly the urge subdues any chance at enjoying the gathering because he simply has to take a dump

 Why I took to this short film so much is because I’ve been in plenty of public rest rooms where it’s a must where you have to hurry, and have even been in family gatherings where a bathroom is located in the center of a high traffic area and any ejection is almost impossible. Like it or not this situation has occurred at one time or another in your life and “Party Pooper” is a comedy that teaches us how to gracefully exit in the middle and reaches down our fecal trauma that’s kept us back in many a party. I loved this movie because it’s happened to everyone and just has to be seen in all its awkward pinnings.and surprise movie-goers. Director Mark Tapio Kines perfectly tales a simple premise and uses it as a way to observe life and awkward social misfortune that can kill a party effectively.

Kines dramedy is a bowl of life that relies on social conduct and how a simple bowel movement can ruin an opportunity in more ways than one.
