As if it wasn't enough fun
being a huge Pink Floyd fan, we jumped at the chance to
review the newest and much anticipated Pink Floyd
concert DVD which includes a concert that's over two
hours long and features some of the best audio and video
you've ever seen.
The picture as well as the sound will make for one of
the great viewing experiences of a Pink Floyd concert
you'll really ever see, and "Pulse" is a fantastic
concert DVD that has to be seen by any respectable fan
of classic rock or Floyd.
If you're looking for
reasons to buy "Pulse", here are a few, it's a concert
never seen before, the band has never been in such rare
form before, the concert light show is beautiful, and
Floyd perform "Dark Side of the Moon" one of the rare
times when actually in concert, while footage never
before seen filmed for the "Dark Side" concerts are
shown in the background.
"Pulse" is a filmed concert
from Pink Floyd in their Division Bell tour in 1994
where they played in London's Earls Court during a
record-breaking 14-night residency, and any Floyd fan
will love the two disc set of performances that feature
one gorgeous light spectacle, and the group singing some
of their best songs.

They open with "Shine on You Crazy
Diamond" and fly through gold like "Another Brick in the
Wall (Part Two)", and then on Disc two is Dark Side of
the Moon, their masterpiece. You can almost feel the
anticipation in the air in the audience of the concert
as the computer graphics first reveal the moon and then
the band, without warning, jumps straight into "Breathe
in the Air" and a show that features a giant warthog, a
plane that crashes and burns above fans, and a laser
light show that has to be seen to be believed. "Pulse"
features nearly four hours of material including a
documentary about bootlegging the bootleggers, and
footage of the band mates on tour, along with the over
two hour concert that is pure Pink Floyd in its raw
essence. "Pulse" is a gorgeous treasure chest for any
classic rock fan. I loved it.
RIP Syd.
