What happens when you
stop believing the lies you tell yourself every single day? That's the
conundrum Arthur faces when, while perusing his answering machine,
receives a message that he's going to die and his time is up. Even when
obsessing over his inevitable murder, Arthur is a man so self-obsessed
he can barely listen to his patients to hear for possible clues toward
this conspiracy, and spends most of his sessions pondering over his
possessions and their welfare after he's died.

"Time's Up"
is very much an eccentric dark comedy that garners some
sharp performances from its entire cast including star Greg
Nutcher who is compelling as this man facing his mortality
and struggling to decide if there is an actual conspiracy
against him for his death or if he's finally cracking up. Is
the corporation behind Arthur's placebos striking him down?
Is someone in his life planning to assassinate him? |

Or
is a disgruntled patient finally going to put an end to Arthur's
lackluster form of therapy? "Time's Up" moves a steady and sardonic
pace keeping a firm grasp on its premise with comedy that's both
hysterical and morbid in many respects. When the screw turns in the
finale, "Time's Up" makes for a bizarre and absorbing little
thriller that succeeds in entertainment value thanks to its talented
cast.
With a short format and superb performances, "Time's Up" is a thriller
with a dark sense of humor and self-aware tone that make it surprisingly
entertaining guaranteeing a final blow that will keep audiences gazing
