\"\"Okay, so see if this makes sense to you: Cassie and Vlad, having been called in to the future by a mysterious being, find that Halloween Man is fighting a horde of the walking dead who I can assume were once superheroes. Cassie, finding no other recourse in defeating Halloween Man based on the info from a mysterious being they have no knowledge of, Cassie cores the zombie from the robotic armor that so happens to fit her, squeezes in to it and so happens to be able to operate the robotic machinery to take on Halloween Man.<\/p>\n

What does the robotic machinery do? What will it do to her?\"\" Will it bond with her? What force does it have? Do Cassie and Vlad typically go in to situations blindly? I don\u2019t know about you, but that doesn\u2019t sound like Cassie Hack to me, especially when she draws a gun on a being that offers nothing but a message. And the Vlad presented here also is probably one of the worst variations as he\u2019s pushed to the side and made in to a fool by Halloween Man without so much as a consideration to his strength and power. Odds are if you aren\u2019t a fan of Halloween Man, there\u2019s a good chance you will not like \u201cHackoween\u201d and I sure as hell didn\u2019t enjoy what it had to offer in the way of giving fans of either series something to chew on, and instead just fed the Halloween Man fans something tasty while \u201cHack\/Slash\u201d was left with literally nothing but a leap of logic, a Cassie Hack who becomes Flash Gordon suddenly, and a Vlad left to do nothing but take up space.<\/p>\n

I wanted more, and I got nothing but a rushed cross over that left me scratching my head more than it did entertained. While I\u2019m happy Cassie Hack and co. is crossing over with popular characters online, I would love some logic behind it and Cassie\u2019s sudden turn from Eastwood to robot fighter is one that defies logic and every inch of this series\u2019 realism. I am not looking forward to \u201cHackoween #2.\u201d Rule number one with cross over kids: Give both characters dignity and reason, or else don’t even try.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
