\"Castle\"<\/a>For William Castle buffs, Mill Creek recently offered you the chance to witness some of his best films in the five movie set on DVD. And they have also released these titles in double bills on Blu-Ray<\/a>. William Castle movie are already fun and novel horror films with some fine gimmicks, watching them in bunches pairs provides a fun experience altogether. William Castle was a one of a kind director and showman and this is a neat collection for horror fanatics. There\u2019s \u201c13 Ghosts\u201d from 1960 starring Charles Herbert, Jo Morrow, Martin Milner, and Rosemary DeCamp respectively.<\/p>\n

The epitome of the Castle film, the original theatrical release involved audiences wearing special glasses to see the ghosts on-screen. It\u2019s still a fun horror movie. \u201c13 Frightened Girls\u201d from 1963 Murray Hamilton, Joyce Taylor, Hugh Marlowe, and Khigh Dhiegh respectively sets down on girls in a Swiss boarding school that happen to be the daughters of diplomats. When one of the clever girls gets wind of a murder, she must escape. \u201cMr. Sardonicus\u201d from 1961 stars Ronald Lewis, Audrey Dalton, and Guy Rolfe respectively. When a greedy man unearths his father\u2019s corpse to reclaim a winning lottery ticket, his face is frozen in a horrific large grin. He now seeks out the end of the curse before he goes mad.<\/p>\n

\u201cHomicidal\u201d from 1961 stars Glenn Corbett, Patricia Breslin, Eugenie Leontovich, and Alan Bunce and is set in the town of Solvang where there\u2019s a vicious killer on the loose. When a nurse has devious intentions for the wheelchair bound man she\u2019s in charge of, family secrets are uncovered. Finally, there\u2019s \u201cThe Old Dark House\u201d from 1963 starring Tom Poston, Robert Morley, Janette Scott, and Joyce Grenfell respectively. When an American car salesman living in London is invited to a large estate for the weekend, Tom has to figure out why the family inside, The Femms, are being murdered one by one. The release, sadly bereft of special features, clocks in at seven hours and comes with a pair of DVD\u2019s with the titles.<\/p>\n
