The\u00a0Fantasia International Film Festival<\/a><\/strong> returns with its 28th edition from July 18 through August 4, 2024<\/strong>, returning to the Concordia Hall and J.A. de S\u00e8ve cinemas, with additional screens and events at Montreal\u2019s Cin\u00e9math\u00e8que qu\u00e9b\u00e9coise and Cin\u00e9ma du Mus\u00e9e.<\/p>\n

Chuck Russell’s Witchboard Remake<\/strong>
\nFrom A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET 3: DREAM WARRIORS and the beloved1988 remake of THE BLOB to THE MASK, ERASER, and THE SCORPION KING, director Chuck Russell returns to the genre he\u2019s marked with a radical reinvention of Kevin S. Tenney\u2019s 1986 Canadian cult favorite WITCHBOARD. Emily and her fianc\u00e9 Christian discover an ancient Wiccan artifact, a pendulum board, as they prepare to open a bistro in New Orleans’ French Quarter.
