\n<\/strong>Hello, I\u2019m Saint Heart, and I\u2019m obsessed with horror films. I\u2019m an actress, screenwriter, and singer from Austin, Texas.<\/div>\n

What is horror to you, what makes a work of art one in the horror genre?<\/strong>
\nHorror is that feeling that sticks with you, if it messes with your mind and leaves you shook, it\u2019s horror.<\/div>\n

What made you want to work in horror?<\/strong>
\nI grew up watching horror so I\u2019m pretty desensitized to the suspense and fear, but love how it mixes emotion and creativity. It\u2019s all about pushing boundaries and telling unforgettable stories. But, real blood? Nope, I\u2019ll faint for sure.<\/p>\n

Where do you get your inspiration?<\/strong>
\nI get my inspiration from those original scream queens, Jamie Lee Curtis, Neve Campbell, and Sigourney Weaver.<\/p>\n

What would you like your legacy to be in the genre (or elsewhere)?<\/strong>
\nI want to play iconic, complex characters that leave a mark and inspire others to go big and take risks.<\/p>\n

What is Women in Horror Month to you and why is it still important this many years later?
\nWomen in Horror Month celebrates the badass women who shape the genre. All the biggest actresses started in horror. Horror wouldn\u2019t be the same without us.<\/p>\n

Who are some of the Women in Horror who you look up to and who do you want to bring attention to in your field or others?<\/strong>
\nI really loved how Coralie Fargeat pulled from classic horror films in The Substance. She blends those influences while still making it her own.<\/p>\n

Linda Blair was straight up iconic in The Exorcist. That movie still freaks me out! And funny enough, we share the same birthday pretty wild.<\/p>\n

Sarah Paulson in American Horror Story is everything. She\u2019s so versatile and nails every role terrifying or vulnerable, she owns it. AHS is one of my favorite shows, and I\u2019d love to be in it one day.<\/p>\n

What are you currently working on that you can tell us about?<\/strong>
\nI just wrapped playing the final girl in Meathook Massacre, directed and written by Dustin Ferguson. It was a blast!<\/p>\n

I also just got cast as the Queen of Hearts in the horror version of\u00a0Alice in Wonderland, called\u00a0Alice\u2019s Madness in Wonderland. It\u2019s been such a fun experience!<\/p>\n

I just finished writing a \u201dHeart Collector\u201d a psychological thriller super bloody, revenge-driven, and the kills are next level. We\u2019ve started pitching it to the big studios, so fingers crossed!<\/p>\n
