Everyone is on a budget this year, so suggestions of free (with ads) films to watch is always a good thing. Come back daily for a new themed-list:

Today’s list is our first ( yeah, I know missed a few days to start, had lots on my proverbial plate), why not start easy on the fear, high on the entertainment with 6 feature films available on Tubi all about witches:

The Witches of Eastwick (1987)

In a quaint New England town, three women yearning to meet the man of their dreams have their wish granted with the arrival of their own little devil.

A fun romp through a fantasy world with a huge 1980s cast, a film some have never heard of and others adore.

Hansel and Gretel Witch Hunters (2013)

Grown-up Hansel and Gretel have turned their childhood trauma into a successful business of destroying witches, until they meet a new kind of evil.

Fun, good effects, interesting cast. Not the best out there, but definitely entertaining.

Solomon Kane (2009)

When a powerful sorcerer kidnaps a young woman, a warrior breaks his vow of peace and cuts a violent path to rescue her at any cost.

More action than horror, but it still counts!

Watch here

Season of the Witch (1972)

An unfulfilled housewife looks for escape from her banal existence by dabbling in the occult, causing her life to spin hideously out of control.

A classic, perfect for a rainy day.

Watch here

The Love Witch

A modern-day witch in California uses spells and magic to get men to fall in love with her in this tribute to 1960’s Technicolor thrillers.

Timely in the Good For Her subgenre, beautifully hyper-stylized.

Watch here

Witchboard (1986 and 2024)

1986: A woman finds an interest in her friend Brandon’s Ouija Board when he brings it by her party.

A 1980s classic for a reason!

A few other suggestions on Tubi; Warlock, Witchville, Beautiful Creatures, Hansel & Gretel.

2024: After Emily finds an ancient spirit board, her friends begin dying in shocking ways. They must break its deadly curse before it claims them all.

A new take on an old favorite that seems to have its own merits.
