\"wip\"<\/a>Writers always put themselves into their work, be they articles, reviews, and especially fiction. The stories we tell are a part of us, they\u2019re our personality, our inner most desires, and our greatest wishes. What \u201cA Work in Progress\u201d does is feature a storyteller in search of her own friend. She\u2019s a girl who sits watching many other children play while she\u2019s forced to basically write and create her own characters. And wouldn\u2019t you know it, she begins to tell the sad story of a brown bear in search of a friend.<\/p>\n

As the storyteller creates her world of fables, more and He tries his best to be something he\u2019s not in an attempt to find a friend, and these individuals can see right through him, and he\u2019s basically without anyone to call his own. more children appear to the foot of her spot to listen to this sad story of the bear that simply could not find a friend. What looks like a simple fantasy, really transforms into a message about the power of imagination and personality.\u00a0 Stories can bring people together, and it can also inspire our minds to wander into other worlds, meanwhile, our storyteller learns that sometimes just to find friends, you have to basically be yourself and not try so hard.<\/p>\n

\u201cA Work in Progress\u201d not only has a very positive message, but it also teaches children what incredible things writing can evoke, all the while Ball enlists a terrific score, paired with a very sweet performance by Melissa White that make it fit a feature length fantasy film. Hell, I\u2019d watch it. Ball’s experimental short film is a wonderful mini-fantasy that holds two very positive messages about friendship and imagination, paired with great acting, a beautiful score, and very charming animation.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
