\"81VpV8sPqkL._SL1426_\"<\/a>Are we really going to review thirty two movies in one review? Well yes and no. For years I’ve always found the boxed sets from discount chains like Mill Creek to be something of a peculiarity. Sometimes they can be really cheap starter kits for prospective movie buyers. You can find them at discount stores or garage sales and for anyone looking for an untouched two dollar version of “Night of the Living Dead,” they can surely find something of use for a set.<\/p>\n

But sometimes there are sets so magical and excellent, it’s hard to not giggle gazing at its beauty. I speak of the 32 film, 12 disc collection of Cult Classic and Drive In films that feature some of the worst and best worst movies I’ve ever seen and coasting through the set I was ensconced in a world of bad B movie cinema brought to us by the fine folks at Mill Creek Entertainment. A compilation of their past movie sets, this is a juggernaut brick of a B movie mania housing films like the campy “They Saved Hitler’s Brain,” and the thriller “Trip with Teacher.” There are also films that dabble in teens doing bad like the 1971 experience “Weekend with the Babysitter” about a free wheeling babysitter teaching the establishment a thing or two about freedom.<\/p>\n

Films like “The Pom Pom Girls,” and “Click” bring us to the grindhouse forefront that you can’t help but savor with every bit of flavor. A set like this rarely comes along and I had a blast digging through every single title from “Land of the Minotaur” to “The Devil’s Hand” in all of their untouched original quality. The movies of course come packaged in DVD sleeves in a clam shell DVD case and are perfectly free of moisture and scratches. Ultimately, I pondered on the use of these DVD sets. Are they simply a waste of money for the collector, or a treasure for the cheapskate? Why not both? All I know is it’s mine, mine, mine, and I dug it’s groovy offerings with a grin.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
