This year’s awards from the Women Film Critics Circle (WFCC) and the Black Film Critics Circle (BFCC) highlight the power of diverse voices and boldly crafted cinema that resonated with audiences and critics alike. Across both organizations, several films emerged as undeniable standouts of the year:

Sinners, a searing, genre-bending drama with cultural weight and emotional power. Its dominance across categories and breakout performances cement it as one of the defining films of 2025.
