The oh so lovely Christine Nguyen is back in what is essentially a movie with the exact cast as “Sexy Warriors.” Though much more science fiction based, “Invisible Centerfolds” gets its kicks off of the comedy it mines from turning Christine Nguyen invisible. Think of it as the famous movie starring Claude Rains, except rather than a legendary male actor, it’s an obscenely sexy young Asian woman.
Nguyen plays Kay, a part time model who is using her money earned to pay for her dental school. She’s approached by a professor to test out his invisibility formula for the price of going to school, and she hesitantly agrees. She also has a nasty habit for attracting a lot of guys where ever she goes, and hates the attention. Sexy people, right? We get no breaks. When she takes the formula, it works more than she bargained for giving her invisibility in random moments. This allows her to come and go as she pleases, and get revenge on the sleazy photographer that’s taking advantage of her and her two model friends, all of whom are competing for a calendar centerfold for Playpen magazine.
A lot of the premise is paper thin, so there’s a lot of padding this time out. For some reason Misty Stone appears for twenty minutes to diddle the professor and high tail it when he begs her to try his formula. Things go in to motion when Kay begins running around in the buff watching everyone else have sex at the drop of a hat. There are some finely filmed sex scenes, and some drop dead gorgeous supporting cast members, including Scarlet Red who plays dumb blonde well. Nguyen of course steals the movie with her sheer beauty, and has fun running around jiggling and bouncing. “Invisible Centerfolds” is a fun and silly time killer, one that I enjoyed mainly for Nguyen.
