Michael Friberg’s “You Are Here” doesn’t feel so much like a movie as it does a three part sketch or some kind of extended commercial. Friberg insists in staging a movie that has no huge stakes or interesting character depth. For that I have to respect it, but I also didn’t care much for it.
Because it also doesn’t really have a punch line either. It just goes in to the narrative and ends. Lehi Falepapalangi, stars as Peter an Insurance salesman who reads about how many stars are in the known universe and suddenly begins having an existential crises that sends him spiraling in to the void. After confronting his c-osz From there he ponders on a lot of abstract ideas. Despite the great special effects and fun turn by fIt’s all fairly laughless and sugary sweet,
