As it is the 30th Anniversary of Fantasia, we (well, I on behalf of the team and site) will reshare reviews we’ve done for the fest including those done during the fest and those done for films that have played at the fest that we reviewed at other times to give an idea of the scope of Fantasia and how important it is for the film industry as a whole.
For those paying attention, you will notice that is not article for 2002 as there was no fest that year. The Imperial Theater which was the home of the fest at the time had to close abrubtly and the fest could not find a new home in time, so efforts were put onto the 2003 edition instead.
2001 was the before times, I was working for a different website (my first year) which no longer exists and Cinema-Crazed did not exist yet, so there are no official fest reviews from 2014 to 1996 on Cinema-Crazed. This won’t keep me from pulling reviews of films that have played the fest that year and we have covered one way or another.
