When I saw the words “Unintentional Comedy” pop up as I did research on this movie, I got a little excited. Then, when I read “Environmental Disaster Film” and “Romantic Horror Movie” within the same sentence I mentally heard the sound that plays at carnival games when you win a prize: AHOOOOOGAH!!! AHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOGAHHH!!! You see, I thought this was like Sharknado. That it was a conscious attempt to make a bad movie by a completely self-aware filmmaker. I did not know that this was a passion project with a message. NOW I AM INVESTED! Ladies and Gentlemen, I present to you BIRDEMIC: SHOCK AND TERROR.

BAD MOVIE MONDAY: STRANGE INVADERS (1983)
Last week on BAD MOVIE MONDAY the group and I watched an old favorite of mine. One that I originally saw in 1984 and has been haunting my dreams ever since…

BAD MOVIE MONDAY: ELVES (1989)
Last week I did a Halloween movie, so for this week’s review I’m going to go with Christmas. Because if I can’t ruin ALL the holidays for everyone by associating them with terrible movies then I’m not doing my job correctly.
BAD MOVIE MONDAY: TRICK OR TREATS (1982)
This week we’re gonna go obscure and old school. 1982’s “Trick or Treats”, not to be confused with 1986’s “Trick or Treat” or 2007’s “Trick R’ Treat”, is one of the weirdest slasher movies from the 80s, and that’s saying something.
BAD MOVIE MONDAY: THE CURSE OF HUMPTY DUMPTY (2021)
As much as I love to in bottom-of-the-barrel garbage, I also love it when a movie defies my expectations of being a dumpster fire and actually turns out to be good. This is what happened just last week with BAD MOVIE MONDAY after one of the other people in the group chose a film called “The Curse of Humpty Dumpty” At first, I was stoked because it sounded awful. BAD MOVIE MONDAY: DEMONOID MESSENGER OF DEATH (1981)

Today’s review is for a movie called DEMONOID: MESSENGER OF DEATH starring Stuart Whitman and Samantha Eggar, both of whom are pros at making any movie look awesome just by virtue of them being in it. It’s directed by the legendary Alfredo Zacarías who not only made this twisted gem but also made the utterly batshit insane “The Bees” in 1978 with John Saxon and John Carradine, another one worth seeking out.
BAD MOVIE MONDAY: BLOODY NEW YEAR (1987)
Alright. Since I’ve celebrated trash cinema by having reviewed one of the worst and one of the best movies that I’ve seen on BAD MOVIE MONDAY, how about this time I just do a review about an average middle-of-the-road movie? One that didn’t surprise me and didn’t hugely stand out, but was still a lot of fun.
