A pair of competitive ping-pong playing pals have their ups and downs in Fumiko Sori’s 2002 drama Ping Pong, based upon the manga. Ping Pong is now on Blu-ray via 88 Films.

A Legionnaire goes AWOL to raise money for his brother’s widow in the JCVD vehicle Lionheart, directed by Sheldon Lettich. The 1990 film receives a 4k upgrade to MVD’s previous Blu-ray.

One of the most popular ribbons of film from the dawn of motion pictures was “Fatima’s Coochee-Coochee Dance,” released for viewing in 1897 in Thomas Edison’s Kinetoscope peepshow machine.
