Ela: I’m a sarcastic, blunt ex-chef who adores horror movies. I got into horror back with Goosebumps, and ‘Are You Afraid of the Dark.’ back in elementary school. Since then my love has grown from Universal, Hammer, camp, and especially dark fairytales. I am obsessed with Wendigos, and Werewolves.
Ashy: My name is Ashy Slashy I am the second half of Sirens of Horror and my favorite Horror Movie of all time is Evil Dead! I love all kinds of Horror movies but I think favorites are definitely either campy fun like The Final Girls horror or dramatic story-driven horror like Mama.

Hi, I’m Natalie Simonov. I’ll be 22 this year and I live and work in Brisbane, Australia. I recently graduated from Griffith University with a Bachelor of Film and Screen Media Production. At the Griffith Film School we did a lot of hands on learning and I was given the opportunity to work with high equipment in realistic film set environments. What is it that attracts you the horror genre for your chosen field of creative work?
I love supporting and meeting so many talented filmmakers from around the world in the horror genre. It is an honor to be able to screen their films in our festival. I truly find joy in helping them make connections.
