The reason to see “Sweet & Perverse Milly” is for Milly D’Abbraccio. She’s a mind blowingly sexy, and insanely vivacious woman who dominates the eighty minute movie she headlines with her insanely gorgeous body. Normally foreign erotica can tend to drag, but D’Abbraccio just grabs every bit of attention every time she’s on-screen, and knows exactly what she’s working with, and what she’s doing to the audience. One 7 Movies brings the Milly D’Abbraccio spotlight to the fans with a fine restoration of her 1989 movie.

Vintage Erotica anno 1970 (2014) (DVD)
It’s 1970, so there’s a lot of hippiedom and free loving going on with this volume of vintage erotica. One of the first shorts included is “Love In,” where in a group of hippies give in to their hedonism with a bonafide orgy in the fields. But not before having some sausage, breads and drinking some wine.
The Claire Sinclair Show Vol 1 & 2 (DVD)
There’s just nothing better than an obscenely sexy woman with a great sense of humor. Claire Sinclair is that woman who takes charge of her own show for the Erotica Channel and manages to dole up some of her fun humor, while also showing us why she’s so damn sexy. She’s charming, charismatic, and knows how to salvage what could be considered lame concepts. For “Claire on Claire,” Ms. Sinclair literally interviews herself for thirty minutes, donning separate dresses, and staging her show as if she’s interviewing herself.
Wanda Whips Wall Street (1982) (DVD)
If you ever wondered what Regan Era Republican porn would look like, “Wanda Whips Wall Street” is about as close to the vision as it gets. It’s “Working Girl” meets “Wall Street” except its star Veronica Hart uses her brains and bones a lot of executives to rise to the top of a new company she’s working in and potentially own it. Star Veronica Hart is the perfect Right wing seductress, a business woman who is smart and clever, but also garners a voracious appetite for sex.
Monster of the Nudist Colony (2013)
Can you really call it a nudist colony if it’s comprised of eight people total? I was never quite sure, but I wish nudist colonies actually looked like this. Based on documentaries I’ve seen about nudist colonies, it’s not all comprised of people like Lexi Belle bouncing around and scampering like a pixie. And I’d wager it’s not filled with hedonistic orgies and drunken parties. But I guess that’s the fun of “Monster of the Nudist Colony.” Everything about it is so ridiculous that it comprises a surreal and amusing experience. At the seemingly deserted Circle Double D’s Nudist Colony, a monstrous ape begins wreaking havoc on the residents, rushing out from the woods to terrorize them mid-coitus and little else.
The ape is also collecting the gorgeous women from the Colony for its own nefarious purposes, too. Like making them dance for him. This oddly enough gets back to detective Arch Hammer, who is investigating the ape attacks, and celebrates the case by diddling his gorgeous wife, as played by Melissa Jacobs. Now they plan to go undercover as nudists to investigate, and sleep with just about every resident in the colony. Considering there’s only under a dozen people staying in this luxurious ranch, that’s not much of a task.
Two my favorite aspects of “Monster of the Nudist Colony” is the viciously bad acting, and the deliriously laughable soundtrack. Comprised of soft jazz and oddly self aware rock music, Robbie Breastnut composes much of the hilarious soundtrack that plays over the softcore sex scenes. It’s worth keeping the sound up if only to hear the ridiculous lyrics and wonder if she’s in on the joke, or is actually serious with this soundtrack. Breastnut even appears as a local officer who does nothing but lounge around in a skimpy police uniform and come very close to blowing her own brains out. As for the acting, there isn’t a single competent performance in the group.
Considering this is mainly just a movie for the gorgeous women to strip and grope one another in tame girl on girl, I doubt acting was a big requirement. Nevertheless the furiously bad acting provides the most laughter. You have to see the random girl on girl mid-way where performer Hannah Reilly literally struggles to get through her scenes and finish her lines without tripping up. I’ll place money it took at least ten takes to finish her portion. “Monster of the Nudist Colony” is a trippy bit of softcore soft horror, and is worth watching for the self-awareness brought to the horrific production quality and sheer non-existent plot. Plus, you can’t hate anything featuring Lexi Belle too much.
Sexcula (1974) (DVD)
“Sexcula” is like one big acid trip. There’s no sense of narrative, tone, pacing, or any kind of semblance of story. The director doesn’t even seem to be working on any kind of script. Take for example the big show where a stripper (glimmering in a spotlight seemingly appearing from nowhere) begins dancing with the castle owner’s pet gorilla. The gorilla is so enticed by the dancing, he attacks and rapes the stripper, and out of revenge, she rapes the gorilla. The two then seemingly die during the revenge rape, and then they pop up taking a bow as the characters in the film applaud. It’s this kind of nonsense that makes “Sexcula” irritating, but oddly alluring. I’d call it erotic and sexy, but the movie is just too stupid to muster up any kind of that flavor.
The Slave (1969) [Blu-ray/DVD]
It’s really tough to approach “The Slave” (also known as “Check To The Queen”) on a level where you would an average film. By all respects, Pasquale Festa Campanile’s drama is a unique and surreal drama based around a sadist-masochist relationship. For a long time I’d all but been convinced that “Secretary” was as good as film of this ilk got, but “The Slave” comes close to conquering this small sub-genre well. Pasquale Festa Campanile’s film is solely based around a young girl whose own lust for pain and humiliation is rivaled by her unusual obsession with her vanity.
