The Matrix Reloaded (2003)

I thought “The Matrix” was great and very innovative in its own right. The basic element from the original “Matrix” film is present in this; there’s your pretty dazzling opener with Trinity doing what she does best and we enter into the great story that serves a heaping help full for any “Matrix” fan to feast on. The Wachowski brothers manage to surprise and amaze with some stunning machine special effects and great scenes that truly dazzle the mind. The opening where we’re introduced to Zion is truly magnificent as we’re first shown the exterior’s of the almost too lifelike Zion guard robots then shown the entire city. Zion is a basic hybrid of modern machinery and old age homes that live among each other in a community.

Hardball (2001)

Connor O’Neil is a man out of his luck. He’s a no good gambling addict who constantly fails at his bets. He’s also got a bunch of guys after him who will stop at nothing to kill him for their money. Connor turns to a rich friend who offers to pay him 500 dollars a week if he agrees to coach an inner-city baseball team. Desperate, he agrees.

The Matrix (1999)

This has only been around for a little while and already it’s a cult classic and has a huge following, not to mention two more movies out. The movie starts off with Trinity running away from the agents in a sequence that instantly caught my attention and made sure I paid attention. Then we go into Neo (Keanu Reeves  Hardball, Dracula)  who is at his computer and gets a mysterious message telling him that they’re watching him. He disregards this message and decides to applies for a job the next day. But little does he know what’s in store for him. He receives a phone call from someone telling him that some men are after him. The caller instructs an escape for him but unfortunately the people catch him.
