When I was in grade school one of the first books I ever remember reading was “Clifford.” Being a dog lover, the idea of owning a humongous red dog seemed like a lot of fun, and I couldn’t get enough of the books. “Clifford the Big Red Dog” began life as a children’s book series, with author Norman Bridwell bringing to kids the iconic giant red dog who’s managed to endure as a literary figure for years. The long awaited live action movie thankfully doesn’t let down the fan base both new and old.

A nobleman’s daughter is caught up in a love affair with a peasant and is thus forced to leave him behind. She later become the concubine of the king and bares him a son. After his death, his brother takes the throne. Machinations and power plays mixed with a love triangle make life complicated for everyone in the palace.

A young woman is entrusted with a powerful sword, the missing half of weapon deemed to give incredible power once reunited. As she makes her way to the sword’s resting place, she is chased by those looking to take the power away from her people.
Mute (2021)
In this short film adaptation of a Stephen King story, a man picks up a hitchhiker and tells him his life story while they drive. Once home, he tells the same story with the addition of the hitchhiker to his priest. As he looks for absolution from both these men, he ends up finding something else entirely.
Nightshooters (2018, released 2021)
A filmmaker and his crew are working in an abandoned building when they witness something they should not have in the next building over. As they have been spotted, they need to run and fight for their lives.
Ida Red (2021)
A family of criminals with their mother in jail must come up with a way to get her out before her terminal illness gets the best of her.
