CBS’s juggernaut sitcom “The Big Bang Theory” is currently running in to its seventh year on television and shows little signs of slowing down, with smash ratings, and a humongous fan base. The series has been a consistent source of guest stars for fan boys and science fans across the country with some of the funniest and most surprising appearances from folks like Levar Burton to Neil Degrasse Tyson. Here are ten of our Top Ten Guest Stars of the series, so far.
I often get the “Really? You like this?!” response whenever I speak about my enjoyment for Disney shows. You know what? Some people watch reality shows to pass the time, I watch Disney sitcoms and cartoons to escape from reality, and it offers some genuinely good laughs and entertainment. You’re only as old as you feel, and I am very experimental when it comes to kids’ shows. They’re not always winners, but when I hit one that entertains me, I tune in regularly. These are five we love without shame.
Who says only women can become sexier with age? Here are ten actors and performances in film that have grown significantly sexier with age, and have packed enough star power in Hollywood to show that often times being an icon is a man’s work not fit for boys. Here are ten actors over thirty five in Hollywood currently making waves and aging well. They’re classy, sophisticated, and the object of desire for many women across the world.
This year marks the 50th anniversaries of the X-Men and The Avengers. So to commemorate my love for the X-Men, I thought it’d be fun to count down my top ten X-Men of all time. I really don’t care who is dead currently, or who are evil, or who is on a new team. This is my top ten X-Men and the characters that keep me coming back to this intelligent and wonderful franchise throughout the late eighties and the nineties.
Who are some of your favorites?
The canvas of Hollywood is always changing. In a little over a year, many actresses come and go, some of them prove to be mainstays, while other disappear from the public consciousness. We still have a great appreciation for the older women, and the ten gorgeous women we’ve chosen for the sequel to our 2005 list have proven to be talented, class acts, and down right sexy from head toe. These are ten more talented actresses over 35 working in Hollywood that are incredibly sexy, and absolutely beautiful.
I’m not saying Hollywood always knows what the hell they’re doing. But most of time their liberties can do good things for some franchises and properties. The “Lord of the Rings” movies are generally accepted in spite of the fact that they cut out whole characters, and invented sub-plots. And despite the authors hating them dearly, “Willy Wonka” and “Mary Poppins” ended up becoming iconic cinematic masterpieces. But then again we’ve also had “Daredevil,” “Batman & Robin,” “Green Lantern,” and “Elektra,” so you have to take the good with the bad.
Adaptations should be made with an appeal to the fan base and a broader audience, and though Hollywood needs to be called on their bullshit more times than not, listening to the fans for ideas is also a bad idea. It’s the worst idea possible. Fan boys should be given their fix, but never allowed behind the curtain to decide on the recipe. If so, we’ll have thirty fan boys going to war on including the Extended Universe in the new “Star Wars” movies, and arguing about who should play Green Lantern next. It’s an endless pool of petty, annoying shit. Placate them, but never give them power.
