It’s the Justice League’s worst nightmare. After years of battling petty thugs like the Royal Flush Gang, someone finally figured out how to systematically bring down each and every member of Earth’s most powerful super team. And worse, they’ve figured out a way to psychologically destroy them so they’re each rendered completely impotent in battle. Vandal Savage is at his megalomania again and he has a master plan that will completely ruin how the world operates leaving him the supreme ruler. But first he must eliminate the Justice League. Through a series of scenarios and calculated confrontations, Savage manages to succeed in immobilizing each member of the justice league allowing him adamant time to complete his plan. But he doesn’t count on the secret weapon: Cyborg.

The Mask of Zorro (1998)
As a fictional character, Zorro is the original superhero. He inspired Batman, The Shadow, and the like, a masked man with a dark persona who uses his wits and wily cunning to win battles in a world where evil men rule. Zorro is a man whose entire origin resembles Bruce Wayne, The Batman. An aristocrat by day, Don Diego is a playboy who lives in the period era of California who hobnobs with yuppies of his ilk and authorities. By night he’s a masked man with a faithful servant who wields swords and weaponry alike to fight crime and take on bandits and warlords of all kinds.
Maniac Cop 2 (1990)
Matt Cordell is back and it was only a matter of time before he continued to seek pure vengeance on those who wronged him in his past life. Going back to the events of the first film, “Maniac Cop 2” traces its steps from the original film to continue off where Cordell started his journey for revenge against the people who framed and jailed him, leaving him to die at the hands of inmates he’d busted years before. “Maniac Cop 2” is a film intent on not only continuing the narrative but finishing off the loose ends of the original film.
House Party 3 (1994)
You can tell that “House Party 3” is pretty much where Kid and Play are on the way out, pop culture wise. It seems while New Line Cinema funded their first two films, they drastically cut the budget for this third entry in to the series. And it shows big time. It looks dated. Even more dated than the first one. The photography is hazy, the camera work is amateur, there is an obscene amount of close ups on character faces, and the comedy is nowhere to be found. There isn’t a single laugh to be had here. And the slapstick escapist tone is all but missing.
House Party 2 (1991)
Kid has had a tough road ahead of him. In the original “House Party” we learn his mom died, and when we meet him in the sequel his father has died too. This is obviously to coincide with the death of comedian Robin Harris who played Kid’s father in the original, and it’s sad he couldn’t present us with a funny performance for this sequel. He was hilarious in the original, and a great foil for Kid. This time around Kid is living with Play, now an orphan, and is on his way to college. This is a great addition to Kid’s back story and adds some real emotional anchor to the film, because Kid is now pressured to live up to his dad’s legacy and achieve an education that his dad was so desperate for him to accomplish.
The Legend of Korra Episode One, Season One: Welcome to Republic City
As the Nickelodeon network’s most sophisticated and probably most brilliant animated series of all time, “Avatar: The Last Airbender” set a standard for modern animated series and raised the bar. Pseudo-anime it surely was, but it didn’t pretend to be anything more than an American animated series with Eastern influences. As a surefire landmark in children’s entertainment for the US network, “Avatar: The Last Airbender” is a remarkable fantasy series that is sprawling and absolutely mesmerizing. So it was only a matter of time until Nickelodeon in America would attempt to duplicate the success and branch off with a brand new spin off of the original series. Fans were almost expecting it. Nickelodeon has to be respected for having the guts to try and catch lightning in a bottle twice.
Killer Eye: Halloween Haunt (2011)
If you’re a hardcore Full Moon Entertainment fan and really follow their films by the tee, then you’ll love “The Haunt.” Basically it’s a self-aware meta-sequel to their cult classic “The Killer Eye.” This time though the movie is simply just a movie in this reality and in this world we set down on, Full Moon is just a company that treads out horror movies. We visit with a group of hormonally unbalanced lesbian best friends who spend their time dancing, and flirting with one another all the while preparing for a big Halloween exhibit one of the girls’ mother is throwing. Of course they spend the night drinking and unpacking the props for the Halloween house which are obviously nothing but Full Moon props.
