Our Top 5 “Married… with Children” Episodes

MarriedWithChildren1

Nineties nostalgia is big money now, and it seems like every studio are trying to continue what fans once thought were completed franchises and television series. Supposedly, there’s a sequel to “Married… with Children” in the works, focusing on Bud as a married man in a dead end job. I don’t see how that could possibly work, especially with Christina Applegate, Katey Sagal, and Ed O’Neill going on to new things, the latter two of whom have either come off or are still working on hit series of their own.

In either case, we spotlighted five of our favorite episodes from the hilarious sitcom about a blue collar family and their perpetually miserable lives.

ICYMI: Five Worst Movie Going Experiences

movie-theater

I haven’t been to the movies since 2011, but I don’t remember a time where going to the movies resulted in an undisturbed experience. The only times I ever spent watching movies in a theater without an asshole destroying my experience were when I took in a matinee during the middle of a work and school week. That said, I spent a good portion of my childhood in movie theaters, and though the novelty eventually wore off, I left with some great and some horrible anecdotes to spare. Years ago I wrote a list of my worst experiences for Crave, and thought I’d re-post the five worst from the original top ten. I still love movies and the movie going experience. It’s magical. I just wish people had some grasp of consideration for others in this age of self-entitlement.

Our Top 5 Horror Video Games

2

It’s the Halloween season, and as usual I’m digging in to my pile of vintage video games to play some of my favorite horror titles of all time. Stuff from the SNES and Genesis just never gets old. And though I’m not a gamer anymore, its fun to re-visit some of the better horror based games, some of which I’m still trying to beat. Hey, I said I was an ex-gamer, not a skilled ex-gamer.

Five More Underrated Horror Heroines

barbara-notld

In 2012 we listed ten of our favorite Horror Heroines that we consider underrated. This year we thought we’d list five more very underrated horror heroines that risked life and limb for their family, or for a cause battling against a monster, demon, or some kind of alien. They’re gorgeous, strong, and prove you can be the final girl in a horror movie and not be at the mercy of pure evil. It’s really tough to find female characters in horror that are heroic and not just final girls. There’s a ton of final girls, but not many heroines, however we were able to find five we loved that also were conveniently enough, heroines until the very end.
